情報系主要国際学会略称の英語読み方の一覧

国際学会・国際会議の名称はInternational Conference on HogeHoge、略してIC**のような4文字ぐらいの略称がついていることが多い。アルファベット通りに「アイ・シー・ホゲ・ホゲ」のように呼ばれる会議が多いのだが。たまに独特の愛称がついていることがあり、紛らわしい。国際会議はリモート全盛の時代ということもあって字で見ることがあっても一昨年て聞く機会が少ない。うっかり現地で外国の方と話すことになったときに英語で何と呼ぶ・どう発音するのかわからないと困ってしまうかもしれない。そこで著者が最も関心がある情報分野での学会名称をまとめて置いた。
独特な読み方を使いこなせれば通っぽさが醸しだせるが、渡らないときはひとまずアルファベットとして読めばなんとか通じるので安牌である。
